About

A clean way to show a play.

Chalkstep is a small, independent tool for anyone who coaches: rec leagues, youth teams, assistants, parents helping out. It does one job: it turns a play into steps you can draw once and show many times.

Who runs it

Chalkstep is built and run by WeldonPC.com, a computer and web services business in Garfield Heights, Ohio. It needs nobody to staff it: there are no accounts to approve, no comments to read and nothing to ship.

About this address

ghbulldogs.tech is an unofficial, independent website. The address is one of WeldonPC's domain names. Chalkstep is not run by, affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for Garfield Heights City Schools, Garfield Heights High School, any team named the Bulldogs, their athletic boosters, the district's technology department, the City of Garfield Heights, any league or any youth sports program. It uses no school or team logos, mascots or colors, shows no team's plays (the examples are generic) and offers no technical help for school devices or accounts.

For the schools' own teams, schedules, news and technology help, use the district's website, garfieldheightscityschools.com.

What Chalkstep never asks for

Names, photos, rosters, phone numbers, email addresses, schedules or locations of anyone. Markers carry one or two characters; the play name (40 characters) and step notes (80) are for the play, and they refuse anything shaped like an email address, phone number or web address. Please write positions and numbers there, not players' names.

The example plays

The fast break on the home page and the overlap in the Guide are generic textbook patterns written for this site, not any team's plays. Plays that coaches save stay private in their own Playbooks.
